Gitte, Bonny & Mousetetytöt
Welcome to a cover concert evening with spontaneous audience choir! Caroline Creutzburg initiates stage projects and related interdisciplinary formats. In “Gitte, Bonnie & Maustetytöt”, she turns her attention to her personal musical role models together with artist, activist and ex-Heartrock singer Tanja Krone as well as Frankfurt yodelling club member Johanna Milz. They are accompanied by Jacob Bussmann (piano/keyboard), Lee Seongsin (guitar, bass) and Špela Mastnak (drums)
We are fans, turning ourselves into musicians; performers retracing outr musical coming-of-age. Our favourite songs open up spectrums of biography, gender and fandom. The ensemble led by Caroline Creutzburg has selected the songs of the evening based on their personal significance. They are used to negotiate the connections between personal biographies, pop culture and a wider contemporary history. It all begins with the joy and the fascination of singing together. Thus follows an invitation to join in and sing along!
An evening located between concert, participatory karaoke happening, vocal archive and feminist-collective autobiography.
